Loren Linscott

STARRSA Facilitator

Loren Linscott is a compassionate leader with over two decades of experience advancing strategies to prevent and respond to interpersonal violence. He has shaped policy, designed large-scale prevention programs, and advised institutions across diverse settings including universities, high schools, military installations, non-profit organizations, conflict zones, and international communities.

Loren is an innovator in the field, having authored a graphic novel on healthy relationships and consent, produced a feature-length film on teen dating violence, and developed one of the nation’s first restorative justice programs to address sexual violence on college campuses.

These initiatives demonstrate his creative vision and commitment to expanding prevention beyond traditional models, engaging diverse audiences, and transforming cultural narratives around violence and healing.

With more than fourteen years of frontline experience as a victim advocate, domestic violence shelter worker, and social services case manager, Loren brings both strategic insight and a survivor-centered perspective to his leadership. His ability to bridge direct service with policy reform has led to measurable improvements in violence prevention, elite survivor care, and organizational effectiveness.

An experienced researcher, Loren has led extensive qualitative and quantitative studies using climate surveys, focus groups, and stakeholder interviews to assess organizational culture, identify systemic risks, and drive data-informed solutions. His evidence-based approach ensures that prevention strategies are not only innovative but also measurable and impactful.
