- Creating space for appropriate parties to: a) accept and acknowledge responsibility for harmful behavior; b) repair harm caused to individuals, groups, or the broader community; and c) rebuild trust with others by demonstrating a clear understanding of the harm caused and a commitment to making things as right as possible under the circumstances

- Coaching leaders how to manage conflict within their organizations
- Coordinating with attorneys and their clients to prepare for mediation
- Helping clients create negotiation strategies that can be independently executed in various environments
- Conducting comprehensive organizational reviews to advance strategic objectives or assess compliance with professional standards
- Providing information about effective interventions for addressing problematic sexual behavior, including risk assessment options
Legal Counsel
- Advising educational institutions on student conduct or student conflict matters, including those involving sexual misconduct
- Assisting federal agencies, partners, or grantees with programs, policies, or regulations related to student behavior or student conflict
- Counseling clients on compliance related issues and utilizing preventive law approaches to avoid future disputes
- Guiding parties implementing restorative justice processes
- Developing settlement terms and conditions that satisfy multiple stakeholder interests
- Drafting dispute resolution clauses for various agreements
- Helping clients amicably resolve issues with other parties, including collaborative legal approaches to family matters
Training
- At Klancy Street, we provide training on many topics related to the services above and often custom-design trainings to meet specific client needs. We also provide specialized training related to the STARRSA program – a research-informed approach to addressing problematic sexual behavior among college students.
