Klancy Street’s STARRSA AP Facilitation Program provides research-informed interventions for students who have engaged in sexual misconduct on campus. Provided upon request and available on-demand, these services are delivered remotely by facilitators with decades of experience working with adolescents and young adults who have engaged in some form of problematic sexual behavior.
Rather than a one-size-fits all approach, the STARRSA AP program begins with a risk and needs assessment that allows our facilitators to tailor educational interventions for each student. The assessment is designed to address student-specific risks, needs, and responsivity, while building upon crucial protective factors.
Benefits:
- Personalized intervention for each student
- Tailored curriculum involving 10 distinct learning modules
- Individualized pre and post assessment of risks, needs, and protective factors
- Available for students on-and off-campus, domestically and internationally
- Intervention summary provided to referring party or institution upon completion
- Fixed cost
How It Works: All engagements begin with a review of collateral information provided by the referring institution and completion of a baseline knowledge assessment to determine student risks, needs, protective factors, and their potential responsivity to various interventions. Information obtained during this process is then used to create a personalized curriculum for each student. The focus of the curriculum is on campus safety and what the student needs to do to reduce the risk of any further sexual misconduct.
Upon completion of the program, the referring institution will be provided an intervention summary outlining the number of sessions completed, dates of service, level of student engagement, progress toward learning outcomes, and any additional suggestions deemed appropriate by the facilitator.
Price: Costs for the program are structured as a flat rate of $1,875. Although intervention length depends on each student, typical engagements range from 10-12 sessions of 60-90 minutes each. All costs are payable prior to service by either the referring institution, the student, or both.
